Terms of Service
Effective Date: March 28, 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to VidBolt.ai ("VidBolt," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VidBolt platform, including our website, applications, APIs, and all related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service.
2. Service Description
VidBolt.ai is an AI-powered platform that transforms written scripts into complete videos. The Service enables faceless content creators to generate narrated, visually rich videos through automated scene composition, AI-driven image generation, text-to-speech narration, and video rendering. Key capabilities include:
- AI script generation and scene-based storyboard editing
- Consistent character generation across scenes
- Voice narration powered by third-party text-to-speech providers
- AI image generation for scene visuals
- Automated video rendering and export
3. Third-Party Service Dependencies
VidBolt relies on third-party artificial intelligence services to deliver core functionality. These include, but are not limited to:
- Google Gemini — used for text generation (story scripting, scene breakdowns) and image generation (scene visuals, character reference sheets).
- ElevenLabs — used for text-to-speech narration and audio alignment.
Availability, quality, and pricing of these third-party services are outside our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to features that depend on external providers. Changes to third-party terms, rate limits, or service outages may temporarily affect VidBolt functionality.
4. Account Registration
To use VidBolt, you must sign in using Google OAuth. By authenticating, you authorize us to receive basic profile information (name, email address, and profile image) from Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account credentials.
You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account and use the Service. By registering, you represent that you meet this minimum age requirement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that we reasonably believe belong to users under 16.
You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account details current. You may not share your account with others or allow unauthorized access. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
5. Subscription Plans & Payments
VidBolt is currently available at no cost during our early-access period. Paid subscription plans with tiered features and usage limits are planned for the future. When available, payments will be processed via Stripe. We will provide advance notice before introducing any paid plans or charging for features that were previously free.
Details regarding pricing, billing cycles, refund policies, and cancellation procedures will be published on our website prior to the launch of paid plans. Continued use of the Service after paid plans become effective constitutes acceptance of those terms.
6. Intellectual Property
Platform Ownership
All rights, title, and interest in the VidBolt platform — including its source code, design, trademarks, logos, documentation, and proprietary algorithms — are and remain the exclusive property of VidBolt.ai. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use VidBolt branding or trademarks without our prior written consent.
Your Content
You retain ownership of the scripts, prompts, and other original content you provide to the Service ("User Content"). By uploading or submitting User Content, you grant VidBolt a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process, transform, and store your content solely to provide and improve the Service. This license terminates when you delete your content or your account.
AI-generated outputs (images, audio, videos) created through your use of the Service are yours to use, distribute, and monetize, subject to applicable third-party provider terms and any restrictions set forth by Google Gemini or ElevenLabs usage policies.
7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Content generated through VidBolt is produced by artificial intelligence models and may contain inaccuracies, biases, or unintended outputs. You acknowledge that:
- AI outputs are probabilistic and may not always meet your expectations.
- Generated images and text may inadvertently resemble real people, brands, or copyrighted material.
- You are solely responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before publishing or distributing it.
- VidBolt does not guarantee that generated content is free from intellectual property conflicts.
8. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or promotes violence or discrimination.
- Create deepfakes or misleading content designed to deceive or defraud others.
- Produce content that exploits or harms minors in any way.
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the platform.
- Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or access controls.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without written authorization.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our prior consent.
- Interfere with the security, integrity, or performance of the Service or its infrastructure.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions, with or without notice.
9. DMCA & Copyright Claims
VidBolt respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that content on our platform infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice to our designated agent at hello@vidbolt.ai containing:
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the infringing material and its location on our Service.
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, email).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We will respond to valid DMCA notices promptly and may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content. Repeat infringers may have their accounts terminated.
10. Data Storage & Retention
Your projects, scripts, generated images, audio files, and rendered videos are stored on S3-compatible object storage infrastructure. We retain your content for as long as your account remains active. Upon account deletion, we will remove your stored content within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
We implement reasonable technical safeguards to protect stored data, but we do not guarantee against data loss. You are encouraged to download and maintain local copies of any content that is important to you. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.
11. Warranty Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VIDBOLT DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY OF AI-GENERATED CONTENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that defects will be corrected. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, VIDBOLT.AI, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to VidBolt in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or fifty US dollars ($50), whichever is greater.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VidBolt.ai and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to:
- Your use of the Service or any content you create, upload, or distribute through it.
- Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law or regulation.
- Your infringement of any third-party intellectual property or other rights.
- Any dispute between you and a third party related to content generated via VidBolt.
14. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service, you agree to first attempt to resolve the matter informally by contacting us at hello@vidbolt.ai. If the dispute cannot be resolved within thirty (30) days of your initial contact, either party may pursue binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of a mutually agreed-upon arbitration body. Each party shall bear its own costs of arbitration unless the arbitrator determines otherwise.
You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted on an individual basis and not as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which VidBolt.ai operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
16. Modifications to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on our website. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice within the Service at least fourteen (14) days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the revised Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you disagree with any modification, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.
17. General Provisions
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and VidBolt.ai regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, or representations.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by VidBolt.ai.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. VidBolt.ai may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets without restriction.
Survival
Provisions relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, and any other terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect after your account is closed or these Terms are terminated.
